This article describes the Bulk Tags screen. On this screen you can see, download, and delete the bulk tag files you previously added as part of the tag filters on items like ring tree targets, call flows, and pixels. You must add the bulk tag files on those items before you can see any bulk tag files on this screen.

Bulk Tags Screen
To get to the Bulk Tags screen, click Settings from the left navigation panel to expand the options. Then click Bulk tags to open the screen.
The Bulk Tags screen is the tool in the Ringba application where you can:
- See a list of all the bulk tag files currently in your account, including a count of the tags in the file.
- Click the Show References icon to display a list of all the filters that use this bulk tag file, such as those on ring tree targets, call flows, and pixels.
- Click the Download icon to review the contents of the bulk tag file.
- Click the Delete icon to delete bulk tag files that you no longer need.
When you click the Show References icon, a panel appears where you can see a list of all the items that use this bulk tags file as part of a filter.
If a bulk tag file is not attached to any filters in your account, it is subject to deletion. Each weekend, Ringba deletes bulk tag files that have not been attached to a filter for 14 days. When Ringba deletes an unattached bulk tag file, it disappears from this screen.
You do not upload bulk tag files on this screen. You upload your bulk tags files when you create a Tag Routing Filter on a target, ring tree target, call flow, pixel, or other item if you set up the tag routing filter to use an Equals multiple values or Does not equal multiple values operator.
Note: You cannot download bulk tag files that were added before April 5, 2024. If you attempt to download a file older that than, you will see the following error message: File is unavailable for download.
How to Upload a Bulk Tags File
You upload a bulk tags file when you create a tag routing filter. When you choose the the Equals multiple values or Does not equal multiple values operator, a button appears where you can upload a list of values for the field to equal or not equal.
See the Tag Routing Filters article for more information about setting up your filters, including using a bulk tags file.
How to Download a Bulk Tags File
Note: You cannot download bulk tag files that were added before April 5, 2024. If you attempt to download a file older that than, you will see the following error message: File is unavailable for download.
When you download a bulk tags file, the values of the file appear in a new tab in your browser for you to review. You cannot edit these values. You can use the browser's Save As function if you need to store the values in a file.
Use the following steps to download a bulk tags file:
- Click Settings from the navigation menu and then click Bulk Tags to open the Bulk Tags screen.
- Find the file you want to download in the list. You can use the search field on the right side of the screen to help you.
- Click the download icon in the Actions column.
How to Replace or Delete a Bulk Tags File
You cannot edit a bulk tags file once it is uploaded, so if you need to make a change, you should:
- Verify where the old file is used by clicking the Show References icon under the Actions menu.
- Go to the filters that use the file and upload your new bulk tags file instead.
- Delete the old bulk tags file by using the following steps.
Use the following steps to delete a bulk tags file you no longer need in your account:
Important: Deleting a bulk tag file does not delete the tag routing filters where it was used. Make sure to use the Show References icon, as described earlier in this procedure, or find all places where the bulk tag file was used so you can replace it or delete the tag routing filter, if it is no longer needed. Failure to complete this step could cause one or more targets to become ineligible to receive calls.
- Click Settings from the navigation menu and then click Bulk Tags to open the Bulk Tags screen.
- Find the file you want to delete in the list. You can use the search field on the right side of the screen to help you.
- Click the Delete icon in the Actions column.
Note: If you do not delete your bulk tag file after you replace it, it is subject to deletion after 14 days. If you do not want to lose your replaced file, make sure to download it and save it locally before 14 days pass.
