Your password is the first line of security to prevent unauthorized access to your account. You enter your email address and secret password when you sign in to Ringba to prove you are authorized to access your account. You also enter a code from your multi-factor authentication app for an added layer of protection.
Note: If you enter an incorrect password three times, you must wait 15 minutes before you can try again.
Password Requirements
The password you set for your Ringba account must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- At least 1 capital letter
- At least 1 lowercase letter
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 special character
How to Update Your Password
You can update you password both when you're signed in to Ringba or when you're on the login page.
Change Your Password Within the Application
If you are already signed in to Ringba and have your password, you can update it from within the application. Use the following steps to update your Ringba password from inside Ringba:
- Navigate to Settings > Profile.
The Profile screen appears. - Scroll to the Change Password section and complete the fields.
- Click Change Password to activate your new account password.
Reset Your Password from the Login Page
If you have forgotten your password, you can resent it from the login page. You must have access to the email account you use to log in. Use the following steps to reset your Ringba password from the login page:
- Go to the login page: https://app.ringba.com
- Click Reset Password.
- Enter your login email and click Reset.
Ringba sends an email to your email address with with instructions for completing the password reset process. When you complete the steps, you can return to the login page and log in with your email address and new password.
