The profile node is a step you can add to your call flow to use Ringba's Instant Caller Profile to pull data-enriched information about the caller and add the data to your call as tags.
Ringba’s Instant Caller Profile is a powerful tool that gives you a wealth of information and data about your caller. Data enrichment lets you make data-driven routing and pricing decisions, enhances call center performance, improves buyer return on investment, drives up your conversion rate, creates retargeting audiences, and adds additional revenue through the sale of your caller data.
All this before the caller hears the first ring.
Important: This feature has an extra cost; contact your Account Manager to enable Instant Caller Profile for your Ringba account.
Configuring the Profile Node
After you add a profile node to your call flow, you click the node to open the configuration panel on the right. The panel includes the following fields:
- Node Name: Enter a label to describe the node. This information is helpful for identifying nodes in the Call Details Report.
Tip: Enter a descriptive name to help you differentiate this node from other profile nodes when you are troubleshooting or reviewing the reporting later.
After the caller profile has been enriched, you choose what happens next to the call based on success or failure of the data pull. In this example below, if the data pull was successful, the target is dialed. If the data pull failed, the call is terminated.
Important: If you're adding a profile node to an existing call flow to capture ZIP Code, don't forget to check the tag routing filters of all the targets, both ring tree targets and standard targets, to ensure the ICP/Profile option is selected.
If this box is not selected, Ringba does not know to accept ZIP Code values from the profile node and the target can be made ineligible unnecessarily.
Profile Data
When the profile node pulls the data from ICP, it then adds it to the call as tags. You can use these tags in a variety of ways. A few example include:
- Find this data on the Tags tab in your Call Details Report as you analyze your traffic and performance.
- Use the data to route calls with tag routing filters.
- Send this data to a third party using a pixel.
The following table shows the most commonly used ICP data elements, and the tokens you use to include them in some features.
| Data in Tag | Token |
| City: | [tag:Address:City] |
| State: | [tag:Address:State] |
| ZIP Code: | [tag:Address:Zip 5] |
| Email address: | [tag:Email Addresses:Email 1 Address] |
| Age: | [tag:Demographics:Age] |
