The Hours node is used when you want to validate and make call routing decisions based on hours of operation. Using the Hours node also gives you ability to set hours of operation for your call flow without having to configure it the target level.
- Node Name: A label that will be populated on top of the node with the selected name. This information will be available in the call reporting.
- Time Zone: The ID of the timezone.
- Setting Type: The configurtion for hours of operation.
Setting type (Basic and Advanced)
The default is Basic, then you just have to select the hours of options and add breaks if needed. This option is used when all week days have the same time to open, close and break.
The Advanced is used when you want to set up different hours of operation for week days. You will be selecting the time to open, close and break for each, you can also disable or enable the week day, in case there is no operation that day you can switch the button off.
Using open or closed options as decisions
In this example, if open will dial the routing plan A and if is closed will be routing plan B but you can use different flows if needed.
