Unlike the Caller ID, which is the phone number of the inbound call, the Inbound Call ID is the unique number Ringba uses to identify calls within the platform. While the Caller ID is the short phone number you've seen many times, the Inbound Call ID is a long alphanumeric identifier that starts with RGB. It looks something like this:
RGB99999999XXX99X999XX99X9999XX9X999999999XX99XX999You may need to provide the Inbound Call ID when you are working with Ringba support. For example, you need to provide the Inbound Call ID to investigate a call that did not generate revenue or did not generate a payout.
Fortunately, the Inbound Call ID is easily available from the Reporting screen. Use these steps to find and copy an Inbound Call ID:
- Navigate to Reporting > Default.
The default Reporting screen appears. - Scroll down to the Call Details section and find the call you want.
Tip: For tips on using the filters to find the call you want, see the Reporting Panel article. - Hover over the Inbound Call ID column and click the copy icon that appears.
The Inbound Call ID is now in your clipboard, ready to paste into your chat with Ringba support.
Tip: If the Inbound Call ID column does not appear in your Call Details section, you can add it. Click the Customize Columns button and scroll to the Call section. Select the box next to Inbound Call ID, and the column appears in your Call Details table.
