This article describes how you can control how Ringba routes a call from the same caller ID as a previously connected or converted call for a particular buyer. You can also configure duplicate call routing at the target level.
Note: If you configure duplicate call restriction for both the buyer and the target, the settings on the buyer level apply by default and the settings for the target, if they exist, override the buyer settings.

Configuring Duplicate Call Routing
To configure buyer settings for how Ringba manages calls from the same caller ID as a previous call that connected to a target for this buyer, use the following steps:
- Navigate to Targets > Manage Buyers.
- Click the name of the buyer from the list to open it.
- Scroll down to the Restrict Duplicates field. The option you choose in this field applies to all targets assigned to the buyer and affects what other fields appear on the screen. You can choose among three options for this field:
- Do Not Restrict
- By Campaign - All Targets
- By Campaign - Individual Target
Do Not Restrict
If you select Do Not Restrict, the system can route subsequent calls from the same caller ID to any target, including a target that received previous calls from this caller ID.
By Campaign - All Targets
If you select By Campaign - All Targets, the system does not route subsequent calls from a caller ID to any target assigned to this buyer. For example, if a call with caller ID 13125551111 connected to Target A, and then another call from 13125551111 comes in, the system does not route it to any target associated with the same buyer as Target A.
If you choose this value, additional fields appear for you to further configure the system behavior:
- Restrict After: Select whether you want the system to restrict all calls from a caller ID that previously Connected to a target, or only those that Converted.
-
Duration: Indicate how long to restrict duplicate calls after the last connected or converted call. You can choose Always or Time Limit. If you choose Time Limit, you must also indicate the number of days after the last connected or converted call you want to restrict calls from the same Caller ID.
By Campaign - Individual Target
The configuration for By Campaign - Individual Target is similar to All Targets. However, if you select By Campaign - Individual Target, the system does not route subsequent calls from a caller ID to this target but may route it to another target associated with the buyer.
For example, if a call with a certain caller id connected to Target A, and another call from the same caller ID comes in, the system does not route it to Target A but may route it to another target that is associated with the same buyer.
If you choose this value, additional fields appear for you to further configure the system behavior:
- Restrict After: Select whether you want the system to restrict all calls from a caller ID that previously Connected to a target, or only those that Converted.
- Duration: Indicate how long to restrict duplicate calls after the last connected or converted call. You can choose Always or Time Limit. If you choose Time Limit, you must also indicate the number of days after the last connected or converted call you want to restrict calls from the same caller ID.
