Getting a Bid ID
Many times when you are researching a bid, you receive the bid ID from a publisher who is asking you to investigate. In that case, you can just take the bid ID the publisher provided and go to the next section.
Other times you might want to investigate bids in your account for your own reasons. For example, you want to understand why a bid was a specific amount or you might be researching an error that occurred.
For bids that turn into calls, you can find the bid ID on the Reporting screen. Expand the call in the Call Details section of the Reporting screen and view the Tags tab to find the bid ID.
If the bid did not turn into a call, you can still find the bid ID. Navigate to Reporting > Real Time Bidding and use the Export Bids feature. The CSV file you export contains a row for each bid and information in the following columns:
- Campaign: The campaign's name.
- Publisher: The publisher's name.
- Campaign ID: The campaign's unique identifier.
- Publisher ID: The publisher's unique identifier.
- Publisher Sub ID: The publisher's sub ID.
- Bid: The bid amount.
- Winning Bid: Contains True if this was the winning bid.
- Winning Bid - Call Accepted: Contains True if this was the winning bid and the call was accepted.
- Winning Bid - Call Rejected: Contains True if this was the winning bid and the call was rejected.
- Bid Date: The date and time of the bid.
- Expiration in Seconds: The number of seconds before the bid expired.
- Bid Expire Date: The date and time at which the bid expired.
- Bid DID: The DID associated with the bid, if applicable.
- Bid Rejected: Contains True if the bid was rejected.
- Reason for Rejection: A description of why the bid was rejected, including the error code.
- Bid Elapsed Ms: The number of milliseconds it took to process the bid and generate a response to send back to the publisher.
