After you enter your username and password, a screen appears where you enter your MFA code:
Here's how you find the MFA code to enter:
-
On your mobile device (your smartphone), open the authenticator app you used when you set up MFA for your account. It was probably one of these:
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- Duo Mobile
- Microsoft Authenticator
- 2FAS
- You might see more than one code if you've used the same authenticator app for more than just Ringba. Look for the option that has "Ringba" in the label.
-
Back on your computer, type the 6-digit code from the app into the MFA Code field and click Verify.
Tip: Be quick! the code refreshes every 30 seconds or so. If the code changes before you finish typing, don't worry. You can just try again with the next code.
See our article if you want to learn more about Multi-Factor Authentication with Ringba.
What if I never installed an authenticator app?
Are you using an Apple device? If so, try these steps:
- Search your device for an app called Passwords and open it.
- Look for a code that has "Ringba" in the label.
- Type the 6-digit code from the Passwords app into the MFA Code field and click Verify.
What if I still can't log in?
If you still can't log in, you can contact Ringba Support at support@ringba.com by email. You must use the email address you used to set up your Ringba account so the Support team can verify your identity.
