A user's role determines the data and functionality the user can access in your Ringba account. Ringba has four user roles:
-
Admin: Admin users have access to all data and all account functions, settings, reporting, and billing. Admin users can see all reporting info, change targets, publishers, and campaign settings.
Tip: Admin users also receive all emails and notifications regarding your Ringba account, unless you request that some notifications are disabled. You invite admin users from the Settings > Manage Users screen. - Report access: Report-access users cannot make changes, invite users, or see billing; they have access to reporting functions only. Their reporting shows everything an admin has access to; however, they cannot view or modify campaign, publishers, or buyer settings. You configure whether a report-access user can export reporting data. You invite report access users from the Settings > Manage Users screen.
- Publisher user: A publisher user is a representative from your publisher who you allow to log in to your Ringba account. A publisher user can access data about the publisher and has limited feature access. You invite publisher users from the Manage Publishers screen.
- Publisher manager: A publisher manager is a publisher user who has access to data and functionality for multiple publishers who are part of the same user group. You invite publisher-manager users from the Settings > Manage User Groups screen.
- Buyer user: A buyer user is a representative from your buyer that you allow to log in to your Ringba account. A buyer user can access data about the buyer and has limited feature access. You invite buyer users from the Targets > Manage Buyers screen.
- Buyer manager: A buyer manager is a buyer user who has access to data and functionality for multiple buyers who are part of the same user group. You invite buyer-manager users from the Settings > Manage User Groups screen.
When you invite a user to your account, Ringba sends the invitation via email. Users log in to Ringba with their email address as their username. A user can use the same email address to log in to multiple different Ringba accounts, and the same user might have different roles in each account.
For example, your buyer might also have a Ringba account. A person from that buyer would use the same email address to log in to your account as a buyer user or log in to their own account as an admin user. However, each email address can have only one role within an account.
