You can use a call tracking tag to dynamically insert tracking numbers into your websites and landing pages.
If you use the call tracking tag together with a number pool, this dynamic number insertion (DNI) makes it possible for Ringba track and aggregate information about your landing page visitors and organize it with your call data for reporting.

Call Tracking Tags
To make Ringba's call tracking work, you place call tracking tag code snippet on your landing page. This code snippet replaces your default number with a Ringba number so when your landing page visitors call, the call comes to your Ringba account.
The most important part of your configuration is making sure you have the correct campaign ID in your code snippet. Ringba makes it easy by offering a pre-configured code snippet you can copy from right inside your campaigns, so it is automatically populated with the correct campaign ID.
Tip: You can also retrieve the correct ID for your campaign from the View Campaigns menu, or by viewing the settings of the campaign.
Dynamic Number Insertion with Number Pools
When you use a call tracking tag with a number pool, you still insert a code snippet into your landing page, but with the number pool, the code is much more useful. The code sends session information about your landing pages visitors to Ringba so it can appear alongside the call reporting data. The powerful combination of landing page and call data helps you optimize your campaigns and increase your profit.
To collect information about your landing page visitors, you must use a number pool with your call tracking tag. The number pool selects different numbers to show to visitors so the system can tell that a visitor's browser session data corresponds to a caller based on the number the caller dialed. See Number Pools for full details about how to implement this solution.
Number pools are the most powerful way to use call tracking tags, and the overwhelming majority of users use call tracking tags with number pools. However, it is possible to add a call tracking tag without a number pool. In this case, the call tracking tag simply replaces one static number with another static Ringba number. The only benefit to you is being able to update the number inside Ringba rather than inside the landing page code, once the call tracking tag is in place. You cannot capture any user data from the browser session or connect it with caller data in Ringba with this approach.

- Number to Replace: Enter the phone number that you want Ringba to replace with your number pool number or Primary Number.
- Capture User Data: Toggle on this switch to select a number pool so you can capture landing page visitor data to aggregate with your caller data in your reporting. If you toggle on this switch, a new field appears where you choose a Number Pool.
