You set up a number pool to contain a group of numbers from the same country to use on your landing page. When you install the JavaScript snippet for the number pool on your landing page, your landing page shows a different number to each visitor, letting you capture browser sessions information and connect it to the call that comes into that specific number.

Manage Pools Screen
You use the Manage Pools screen to create new number pools and manage the ones you already created. To access this screen, navigate to Numbers > Manage Pools.
The table on the Manage Pools screen contains a row for each number pool in your account. The table contains the following columns:
- Name: The name you gave the number pool when you created it.
- Country: The country of the numbers in this number pool.
- Closed Browser Delay: The length of time Ringba locks a number to a user after they close their browser. You set this value when you create the number pool.
- Browser Idle Limit: The length of time Ringba locks a number to a user if they leave their browser open. You set this value when you create the number pool.
- Pool Size: The count of phone numbers in the number pool. You set this value when you create the number pool.
- Impressions per Day: The count of how many times since midnight UTC today a visitor to your landing page saw a number from this pool.
- Misses per Day: The count of how many time since midnight UTC today a visitor to your landing page saw the number pool's default number because all number pool numbers were already in use.
- Impressions per Month: The count of how many times since midnight UTC of the first day of this month that a visitor to your landing page saw a number from this pool.
- Misses per Month: The count of how many times since midnight UTC of the first day of this calendar month than a visitor to your landing page saw the default number because all number pools numbers were already in use.
- Allocating: A count of the numbers currently being added to the number pool. A value appears in this column only when you add new numbers to the number pool.
- Actions: You can use the icons in this column to edit the number pool, delete the number pool, and view recent activity for this number pool. The following sections describe these procedures in more detail.
Editing a Number Pool
This procedures describes the process of editing an existing number pool. If you want to set up a new number pool, see Number Pools.
Click the Edit icon in the Actions column for a number pool to expand a panel where you can change some field values. You can also expand this panel by clicking the number pool name. The following panel appears:
You can change the following fields:
- Name: The name of the number pool.
- Closed Browser Delay: The length of time Ringba locks a number to a user after they close their browser.
- Idle Limit: The length of time Ringba locks a number to a user if they leave their browser open.
- Pool Size: The count of phone numbers you want in this number pool.
You cannot edit the country, number type (toll free or local) or prefix of the number pool from this screen. If you need to change those values, you should create a new number pool.
Deleting a Number Pool
You can only delete a number pool that is empty. Before you delete a number pool, you must remove all the numbers. You can remove up to 750 numbers at a time.
Edit the number pool as described previously in this article, reduce the Pool Size value by up to 750, and save. Ringba begins removing phone numbers to get the count down to the value you entered. An indicator appears in the Allocating column to show the progress and indicate when the task is complete.
If necessary, repeat this process until the Pool Size is 0.
Once the number pool is empty of numbers, you can delete it by clicking the trash can icon in the Actions column.
View a History of Changes to This Number Pool
Click the View Activity icon in the Actions column to see a history of activity on this number pool.
