Ringba's White Label gives you full control over the look and feel of the portal. In this guide, you will learn how to setup your White Label account and connect a custom domain name.
White Label Setup Guide
Step 1
Go to Settings → White Label Settings.
Step 2
Choose a Friendly Name to your White Label site and click SAVE. In this example, we are using the name test.
Step 3
Insert your CNAME and click SAVE. In this example, we are using the CNAME ringbawlexample.tk.
Step 4
Enter your CNAME again in the confirmation window and click SUBMIT.
Step 5
Now, you will receive an email with the subject Ringba Alert - White label CNAME request: Domain validation required.
Step 6
In this step, you must go to your DNS provider panel and set the host/name pointing to the target/value. In this guide, we will use a generic DNS provider panel to show you how to set the host and the target. The following image shows the DNS section of a DNS provider and it is for illustration purposes only, most likely yours will be similar but could be different.
Step 7
You will need to add a record in your DNS configuration.
Step 8
Set the type as CNAME.
Note: As you can notice, in the email there are two sets of host/name and target/value. This is an extra security measure added because some DNS providers automatically add your domain at the end of the “Name” field. Therefore, you will need to follow steps 7 to 11 for the two sets of values. Also, due to the same reason, some providers will not allow you to add the two records. If that is your case, you should be good with just one of the records.
Step 9
In the first field called Name, add the value of the host/name. Depending on your DNS provider this field can have other names like Host, for example. In our example, we can check in the email (step 5) that the value is _867ecb21ed3cab9a22ea98fa32ece565.myportal.ringbawlexample.tk.
Step 10
In the Target field, add the target/value. Depending on your DNS provider this field can have other names like Domain or Value, for example. This value is also provided in the email (step 5). In this example, the value is _db0beb1237d0b8945f0e9dc4b8843447.vhzmpjdqfx.acm-validations.aws.
Step 11
Make sure the proxy status is set to DNS only and not Proxied. Now, you can save the record.
Step 12
After some time, you will be able to see in the Ringba Portal that the second step icon in the “CNAME Setup” section turns green. This means that the verification was successful. You will also receive an email confirming this.
Step 13
The next step, Provision HTTPS Certificate, is automatic. You do not need to do anything at this point. When the step is completed the third step turns green.
Step 14
You will receive a new email asking you to set another host/name and target/value.
Step 15
Finally, you need to add another record with the new values shown in the email, following steps 7 to 11. Do not delete the previously added records.
Step 16
Wait a few minutes and your White Label account will be ready to go.
