This article describes the user types available to your Ringba account and links to step-by-step instructions for creating each type. You must be an Admin user to create new users in your account.
The Ringba platform has five different user types or roles:
The following sections describe each user type.
Admin
Create Admin users for people you want to have full access to your account in the platform. Admins can do things in your account like:
- See reporting
- Change campaign, target, publisher, and billing settings
- Invite new users
- Create integrations
Admin users also receive all emails and notifications regarding your Ringba account, unless you request that some notifications are disabled. If you are having problems with an admin not receiving emails or notifications, contact support to see whether the user previously requested notifications be disabled.
Learn More: For more about inviting Admin users, see the Admin Users section of the How to Add an Admin User article.
Report-Only
Create Report-Only users for people you want to have access to the reporting in your account. Report-Only users can see revenue, payout, caller IDs, campaign names, and everything that a regular admin can see, but they can't change any settings for your account. Optionally, you can also grant the Report-Only user the ability to export reports.
Learn More: For more about inviting Report-Only users, see the Report Access section of the How to Add an Admin User article
Both Admin and Report Only users can see the Reporting data for any of your invited Publishers and Buyers. Go to the Reporting > Default page and select the Publisher or Buyer on the top of the page
Publisher
A Publisher, also known as an "Affiliate," is the party that provides the advertising services, calls, or traffic to a campaign. Create a Publisher user to give your Publisher access to their reporting and campaigns. Optionally, you can also grant a Publisher user the ability to create numbers and number pools.
Learn More: To learn more about inviting Publishers, see the Invite a Publisher User section of the Publishers article.
Buyer
Create a Buyer user to give your Buyer access to view transparent reporting and detailed analytics about the calls that were went to their Targets. A Buyer is the owner of a Target. Targets can be assigned Buyers (owners) with sub-accounts so a Buyer can log in and see all their statistics and payouts for all of their Targets. Buyers can be assigned to multiple Targets because sometimes they may have different partners, queues, or campaigns, all in the same brokerage or call center.
Learn More: For more about inviting Buyers, see the Invite a Buyer User section of the Buyers article.
User Groups
Create a User Group when you want to create a user who is responsible for a group of Publishers or Buyers. This Publisher User Group manager or Buyer User Group manager has the same permissions to the reporting as the Publisher or Buyer users they manage.
Note: This type of user can only be either Publisher User Group Manager or Buyer User Group Manager. A single user cannot be both.
